When will my order ship?
Our small team processes and ships orders within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday) from the time your order is placed. Processing time is separate from shipping speed. If your order is time-sensitive, we recommend selecting an expedited shipping method at checkout or contacting us before placing the order.
What if I entered an incorrect address?
If you realize the shipping address is incorrect, please email us at info@thegraymuse.com as soon as possible. If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we can usually update the address. If the order has already shipped or is returned to us, you’ll be responsible for any additional shipping fees to resend it.
Will my order come with a tracking number?
Yes! Once your shipping label is created, you’ll automatically receive an email with your tracking number. Please note that USPS doesn’t scan all packages at every stop, so tracking updates may be delayed even while your order is in transit.
I need assistance with something else. What can I do?
You’re always welcome to email us at info@thegraymuse.com with any questions or concerns. Our small team is available Monday to Friday, 9am–3pm EST, and we aim to respond within 48 hours. Messages received over the weekend will be answered starting Monday.
Shipping questions
When will I receive my order?
Orders are fulfilled within 1–3 business days, and delivery time will depend on the shipping method selected at checkout.
Domestic orders typically arrive within 2–7 business days after fulfillment, while international orders may take an average of 5–10 business days, depending on customs and local delivery systems.
Once your package has been handed off to USPS, we are no longer able to control or expedite its transit. It’s not uncommon for USPS to mark a package as delivered a day or two before it actually arrives.
If your order is marked as delivered but hasn’t shown up, we recommend checking with neighbors, household members, or your local post office. Please wait a few days before filing a missing mail request, as the package is often nearby or delayed in scanning.
Do you ship to internationally?
We currently only ship within the USA and Canada through our website. If you're located outside these regions, you can place an order through our Etsy shop, which offers international shipping.
How much is shipping?
Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order, your shipping destination, and the shipping method you select.
What shipping methods do you offer?
We currently ship through USPS. To ensure a smooth delivery experience, we strongly recommend double-checking your mailing address before placing your order, as address errors can lead to delays or returned packages.
What if I haven't received my order? What if it's marked delivered and I haven't received it?
It’s not uncommon for USPS to mark packages as delivered a day or two before they actually arrive.

What if the tracking information hasn't been updated in a few days?
Tracking information is created when a shipping label is printed, but it doesn’t always mean the package has been picked up or scanned by USPS right away.
It can take up to three business days to fulfill an order, and USPS may not scan packages at every stop due to high volume. In some cases, tracking won’t update until the package is out for delivery—or even after it has already arrived. We kindly ask that you allow up to seven business days for tracking to update before reaching out.
My order looks like it's stuck...what does that mean?
If your tracking hasn’t updated for a while, it usually means the package is still in transit but hasn’t been scanned at each stop. USPS sometimes skips scans to speed up processing, especially during busy periods. Unfortunately, we don’t have access to any tracking information beyond what you see on your tracking page, but rest assured—your order is likely still on its way. We recommend checking the tracking status daily for updates.
Is there a minimum purchase required?
No minimum purchase is required. Whether you order one pin or a hundred, we’re grateful for your support and truly appreciate every order.
How will my order be packed?
We take great care in packaging every order. All pins are mounted to a backing card and securely placed in a small corrugated box for protection. Depending on the size and quantity of pins, multiple items may be mounted to a single card. If you prefer not to receive a sticker or backing card, just leave a note at checkout or email us before your order ships—we’re happy to accommodate and reduce waste whenever possible.
Does shipping come with insurance?
All USPS shipments include tracking, and most options come with limited insurance. If you would like additional coverage or want to confirm what your shipping method includes, feel free to contact us before placing your order. Please note that all insurance claims must be filed directly by the customer with USPS, as we are unable to file claims on your behalf.
Promo codes
Are there any current promo or discount codes?
Yes! You can receive 15% off your first order by signing up for our newsletter below.
We also offer free USPS Ground Advantage shipping within the USA on orders of $50 or more, calculated after discounts and before tax. No code is needed—this offer is automatically applied at checkout when the threshold is met.
If you forget to apply a discount code and request it afterward, please note that the free shipping minimum must still be met to qualify. Only one discount or promotion can be used per order.
Can I use multiple promo codes on one order?
No, only one promo code can be used per order. You’re welcome to use another valid code on a future order, as long as it hasn’t expired. Promotions are only valid during the time they’re active and cannot be applied retroactively or toward future purchases.
Returns & exchanges
Do you accept returns/exchanges?
Yes, we accept returns and exchanges on most items. If you’ve changed your mind about a purchase, please email us within 30 days of receiving your order to see if your item qualifies. Returned items must be in their original packaging and condition. Once we receive the returned item, we’ll process a refund for the product price (shipping costs are non-refundable).
If you'd like to exchange an item, we recommend placing a new order and returning the original item separately.
Please note that our enamel pins may include handmade elements and small cosmetic variations. These do not affect the function or overall quality of the product. We encourage you to read item descriptions carefully before purchasing and reach out with any questions—we’re happy to help.
What if I have a problem with my order?
If something isn’t right with your order, please email us at info@thegraymuse.com as soon as possible. Be sure to include your name, order number, and any relevant photos so we can help you quickly. We kindly ask that all retail order concerns be sent via email, as our social media inboxes are not monitored for customer service.
I lost my pin! Are replacements offered?
We’re not able to offer replacements for lost pins at this time. To help prevent this in the future, we highly recommend using our Deluxe Locking Pin Backs, especially if you're wearing your pins on bags, jackets, or thicker fabrics. All of our enamel pins currently come with black rubber backs by default, which are best suited for thinner fabrics.
My keychain broke! Can it be fixed or do you offer replacements?
Unfortunately, once an interactive design breaks, it can’t be repaired. We offer replacements for Color Wheel© keychains if you contact us within 90 days of purchase, but eligibility depends on how the damage occurred. If the keychain was dropped, handled aggressively, or used outside of its intended purpose, it may not be covered. Other damages are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please note that enamel pins or accessories exposed to extreme temperatures, chemicals, oils, or rough handling are not eligible for replacement.

How are enamel pins made?
Our enamel pins are made from die-struck iron metal, filled with colored enamel, then baked and polished to create a smooth, durable finish. We offer a variety of designs and finishes—feel free to explore our collections to find the ones that speak to you.
What can I use enamel pins for?
Anything you like! Enamel pins can add personality to your outfits, bags, and jackets—or bring a little joy to your workspace, pinboard, or creative setup. They're perfect for self-expression, collecting, or gifting.
Do you have tips for keeping enamel pins from falling off?
Yes! The best way to keep your pins secure is by using locking pin backs. While rubber backs are great for display or light wear, locking backs are a safer choice—especially if you're wearing pins on bags, jackets, or other items that move around a lot. You can shop locking pin backs directly from our store.
How much does an enamel pin weigh?
Most of our enamel pins weigh between ½ ounce to 2 ounces, with heavier weights on our larger or interactive designs. Since our pins tend to be on the larger side, we recommend reviewing the sizing details on each product listing before purchasing. If you'd like a size reference photo or have questions about a specific design, feel free to email us before placing your order.
Why do enamel pins cost what they do?
Our enamel pins are thoughtfully priced to reflect the time, creativity, and care that go into designing each one. From concept to production, every detail is intentional—high-quality materials, meaningful design, and small-batch manufacturing. These are not mass-produced items, nor are they generated or assisted by AI.
Every design is illustrated by hand using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, often blending clean vector work with painterly textures to achieve the detailed, watercolor-inspired aesthetic we're known for. While some designs may appear simple, the creative process is anything but linear. Many concepts take months—or even years—to fully come to life. That’s because we don’t rush. We wait for clarity, alignment, and the right timing. Each product is released when it feels energetically ready to exist.
