Seasons Giving Blog Hop + Giveaway!

Seasons Giving Blog Hop + Giveaway!

Hello! Welcome to the Seasons Giving Blog Hop. A new year, a new decade, and all I see are possibilities. Wishing you a Happy New Year!

This hop is all about YOU! Every participating blog is offering a unique giveaway and to increase your chances of winning, leave as many comments as you can.

I'm so excited to be part of this year's hop as The Gray Muse. I started as a crafter in 2014 and posted a lot as rubznaz/thecreativityenabler on Instagram. I started my own enamel pin + stamp shop earlier this year. It's been a really great year doing something new and connecting with creatives in a different way.

Do you collect enamel pins? They've come to mean so much to me. You can wear them on jackets, purses, totes, pencil cases, or on boards to display in your creative space. I've turned so many folks into collectors because my pins have stories behind them. They represent my love for the little things in life, and there's an entire collection of uplifting quotes and reminders for our forgetful selves.

When people give my pins as gifts to family, friends, and colleagues, the response they get is amazing. The recipient is seen. The giver feels humbled. And all because of a pin and what it represents.

I designed over 90 pins in less than 9 months and have so much more coming this year. I've retired almost half my designs. I was going to remove the retiring collection end of 2019 but I realized this hop would bring new fans. So I'm leaving it up until the end of this hop in case anyone wants to add them to their collection.

In regards to crafting, I did very little of it. I was working as a social worker but also raising my toddler. She turned one a week after I launched my shop in March and started walking shortly after. And then everything changed for me. Between keeping her safe and running this amazing shop, I had time for little else.

But since I created a line of stamps, I did finally create a card last month that I'd love to share with you. It featured two of my favorite stamp sets: Beautiful Blooms (designed by my friend Alex) and Favorite Card Maker (I'm big on sentiments).

And you can see I created lots of sentiments to use later.

I try to remember when I am having difficulty in life, “to give it up to God”. I have become more prayerful each year and this year after turning 50, is no exception! I am enjoying your pins and that is sad that you are retiring some already, but also great for your business! Congratulations on doing what you enjoy and I hope 2020 allows for more crafty time for you! Happy New Year!
