Let's welcome Preeti to the blog today!

I love floral designs that are large and with plenty of details, this BE KIND  stamp set is so beautiful and the details are amazing.I started the card by  white heat embossing the large floral image on a vellum cardstock. The look of white embossing powder on vellum  is a great way to create a clean and simple yet elegant card. I also  white embossed the same floral image on to a pink card stock and colored just the word "Be Kind” in shades of pink with alcohol markers, and fussy cut them using detail scissors, I also fussy cut the vellum heat embossed image . I die cut a pink cardstick with a wonky stitched rectangle die and added worn lipstick distress oxide ink to the edges of the cardstock leaving the center lighter and adhered the vellum floral to the pink base using liquid adhesive. I popped up the word Be Kind with foam tape and added an additional sentiment from the You Grow Girl sentiment set. This pink panel was then adhered to a side folding white note card.

HAPPINESS BLOOMS stamp set is a large stamp set with this amazing floral cluster that you can color using any medium. infact  this stamp set is so beautiful you can easily skip the coloring and just emboss it on to a dark cardstock with metallic embossing powders and it will pop. . My inspiration for this card came from the sentiment which reads “May the flower remind us why the rain was so necessary”. I started by stamping the large floral image onto a copic friendly cardstock using black copic compatible ink. I love coloring so I pulled out a bunch of copic markers to color mine. After I finished coloring I fussy cut only the top edge of the floral image. I took a side folding dark grey cardstock and blended some Black soot distress oxide ink on the very top edge of the notecard and splattered some water to create texture. The idea to use the gray cardstock was represent dark clouds and splatter was the rain. I adhered the floral image in the bottom half to represent  the earth with beautiful blooms because of the rain. I heat embossed the sentiment in the center using white embossing powder.

The Gray Muse Happiness Blooms

For this card I  started by stamping the HUGS floral image onto a deep teal cardstock with embossing ink and embossed it with gold embossing powder. Lately I have been obesessed by the Fine Tec Pearlescent watercolor palette. The look of this pearlescent water color  on dark card stock is pure magic. I colored all the floral images using a few different colors and kept  the word  HUGS as is. I  added clear shimmer to the word and flooded it with glossy accent. This gave a very glassy effect to the word and helped it stand out, and  then fussy cut the image after the glossy accent had dried. On a side folding deep teal cardstock I splattered some gold paint to create a background for my fussy cut image, which I adhered over this splattered cardstock using foam tapes. I added some gem stones to complete this card.
